Pollen Forecast for Smithville, Mississippi

The quantity of pollen grains in the air for Monday will be falling and will remain in the extremely low range. This lower level is caused by rising humidity, strong winds and heavy rains in the morning and evening which tend to wash pollen out of the air.

Pollen concentrations for Tuesday will be on the increase but will still remain in the low range. Since the weather has a major influence on pollen dispersal, this increase is due in part to higher temperatures and the lower dewpoint. The increase of this magnitude could make it more difficult for those with allergies.
